Katy Purviance is the founder of the Spokane Learning Co-op—the only outdoor, self-directed education center in Washington State. She shares her journey from teaching in schools around the world to creating a space where children learn through freedom, curiosity, and community. She also reflects on her turning point at Harvard, the inspiration she found in educator John Taylor Gatto, and her bold vision to revolutionize education.
